Creating TicketsUpdated 7 months ago

Ticket creation is a valuable tool for event organizers seeking to boost attendance and optimize their return on investment. This game-changing feature not only simplifies logistics but also enhances the overall experience for organizers and participants alike.

How can I create tickets?

First, access Ticketing from the left sidebar of the Organizer's Tool.

Click on the Tickets tab to view existing tickets and create new ones.

To create a new ticket, click on the Create ticket button.

This will open the New ticket sidebar.

In the Name field, type in the name of the ticket.

If your event is multilingual, select the language for the ticket name from the globe icon and language abbreviation.

From the Participant type drop-down menu, choose the participant type who will be associated with the ticket.

Note: Keep in mind that only one participant type can be associated with the ticket you are creating.

Then, choose the Ticket type. You can choose between free and paid.

If you choose the paid ticket type, you will notice the Price field. Here, you can see the currency and enter the price of the ticket.

Note: If you want to change the currency, please refer to our article Configuring ticketing settings.

After this, choose the Ticket’s visibility

If you select visible, the ticket will be visible on the registration form, and participants will be able to choose the ticket during the registration process.

If the tickets are hidden, your participants will not be able to choose the ticket during the registration process.

If you wish to limit the number of tickets, enter the number of tickets in the Total tickets available field. If you leave this field empty, there will be unlimited tickets.

Next, define the Sale start date and Sale end date. You also have the option to set the exact time when the ticket sale begins and ends.

Finally, write the Ticket description to inform participants about the ticket's offerings.

Note: If your event is multilingual, don't forget to provide ticket names and descriptions in your other event languages.

Once all details are entered, click on Create to create the ticket.
