Deleting Areas of ActivityUpdated a year ago

The process of creating and assigning areas of activity to organizations is valuable for categorizing the organizations' expertise within an event. However, as events evolve, there may come a time when you need to remove certain areas of activity. 

In this article, we will walk you through the process of efficiently deleting areas of activity from your event.

How can I delete areas of activity?

Access Configuration from the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.

In the Organizations section, navigate to Areas of Activity

On the Areas of Activity page, you'll find a list of all created areas of activity, categorized in groups.

To edit a specific area of activity, simply click on the Edit button next to it. This action will open the Edit area of activity page, allowing you to make changes such as group, name, or position in the group.

If you wish to delete an area of activity, locate the Delete button next to the Edit button. Clicking on Delete will trigger a web notification asking for confirmation. Proceed by clicking OK.

Note: Keep in mind that deleting an area of activity is an irreversible action, and you will not be able to recover the deleted area.

If you choose to delete an entire area of activity group, note that all areas of activity within that group will also be deleted.

Even if an area of activity has been assigned to an organization, you can still delete it. However, once deleted, the area will no longer appear on the organization's page on the event website or in the organization's profile overview
