Creating organization types is a powerful method for categorizing and uniting organizations with shared goals. However, as events evolve, there may arise a need to remove or delete certain organization types. 

In this article, we will walk you through the process of efficiently deleting organization types from your event.

How can I delete an organization type?

Access Configuration from the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.

In the Organization section, navigate to Organization Types. 

On the Organization Types page, you will find a list of all the organization types you have created. 

To edit a specific organization type, simply click on the Edit button next to it. This action will open the Edit Company page, enabling you to make changes to the organization type.

If you wish to delete an organization type, locate the Delete button next to it. Clicking on Delete will trigger a web notification seeking confirmation for the deletion. Proceed by clicking OK.

If an organization type has already been assigned to an organization, you will not be able to delete this organization type. Ensure that no organizations have been associated with the organization type before attempting to delete it.
