Editing Micro Event SettingsUpdated 2 months ago

When it comes to organizing a successful event, configuring micro event settings is a critical step that shouldn't be overlooked. This is particularly important when it comes to registration, as you want to ensure that the right audience has access to your one-day events.

Read on to learn what else you can edit in the micro event settings.

How can I configure micro event settings?

Begin by clicking on Program located on the left sidebar.

From the list of all events, locate the one you want to configure and click on it. This will open the Event info sidebar

In the Event info sidebar, navigate to the Settings tab

Here you will see all event settings you can configure.

What can I configure in event settings?

Event Type

The event type determines if your event is on-site, virtual, or hybrid.

If you choose an on-site or hybrid event, you will notice the Location field. Here, you can type in the event’s location, i.e. where your participants can gather for the one-day event.

If you choose the virtual type, the event will be hosted on the b2match platform.

To choose the event type, simply click on the Type drop-down menu, and choose the type.

Event Visibility

Event visibility determines which audience has access to the event and can register for it.

If you choose that the event is public, any website visitor can see it and register for it.

If you choose that the event is private, only your community members will be able to see it on the event’s list and register for it.

To choose your event’s visibility, click on the Visibility drop-down menu, and choose the visibility

After you’re done, click on Save to ensure that your changes are saved.
