Managing RemindersUpdated 10 days ago

Reminders are a great way to automate communication with your participants and boost your booking numbers for your event. Reminders prompt participants to either accept or request meetings.

The Accept meetings reminder is designed to inform participants about pending meeting requests and encourage them to accept or decline these invitations.

The Request meetings reminder serves as a reminder for participants who have not yet requested any meetings. It encourages participants to initiate meeting requests and actively engage in the matchmaking process.

These reminders are sent to participants by default every three days. However, you have the option to choose the frequency at which these reminders are sent and further specify which participants will receive them.

How can I manage reminders?

First, click on Communications on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.

Then, navigate to the Notifications tab.

Here, scroll down to the Reminders section. You will see options for managing Pending meeting and Request meetings.

Click on the Manage button.

Specifying recipients

To specify the group of participants who will receive the reminder, click on the Edit button.

This will open Advanced Search. To learn more about how to use this feature to filter your participants, read our article on Creating & Saving Filters.

Note: By default, the reminder will be sent to all registered and validated participants with pending meeting requests.

If you wish to revert the changes, click on the Reset to default button.

Setting reminder frequency

By default, reminders are sent every 3 days. However, you can choose other frequency settings.

You can choose between sending reminders daily, every 3 days, weekly, or every 2 weeks. Simply click on the option you prefer.

After you have made all the changes you wish, click on the Save button.
